EveryWoman Business Events (“EWBE”) is a unit of Exibit Exhibitions & Publishing Pty Ltd, Perth’s largest organiser of consumer events and exhibitions.

EWBE had its genesis a decade ago under the LunchBox List brand. Two years ago we integrated aspects of LunchBox List and our EveryWoman Expo and launched our new EveryWoman Business Events brand.
But the heart of our success is still our community of some 8,000 members and associates, who attend our events, receive our newsletters or read our postings. We interact with women from across the full spectrum of business, government and academia. Our events are attended by business owners and managers, consultants and academics, public-servants and health care professionals, and women generally who aspire to learn, grow and develop their careers and their businesses.

In 2013 all of our events will follow our format that is designed to minimise time away from the office while maximising the opportunity for sharing.  From the start of the formal activities to close, our events run for just two hours. We offer guests a drink on arrival, a gourmet meal-box to eat once seated and on-time completion. We bring between 250 and 350 guests to each of our events.  

We like to make our events great forums for networking. We encourage guests to arrive early and meet with other women. We even include a short, structured networking session at the top of the event. And there’s plenty of time at the end to talk and meet with the speakers and ask them for a few personal tips. Best of all, we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we ask our guests to have some fun!

We ask all of  our presenters to give their 'back story'. While we want them to talk a bit about what they do now, we're more interested in finding out how they arrived at where they are now. We like them to inspire the audience as they share the story of their career and their personal journey; as they let us into what worked and what didn’t; and as they reflect on the lessons learnt and offer advice for other women. We encourage our speakers to reflect on issues such as achieving a work- and family-life balance, the importance of mentors in their career and the advice they would give other professional women. The most successful presentations are those that come from the heart - a little candour goes a long way. We’re looking for personal stories told in the speaker’s own words – the PowerPoint slides can be left in the board room.

To mark International Women's Day each year, we present our signature event, Women of the World sponsored by Rio Tinto,  and supported by UWA, we present speakers with an international outlook to an audience of nearly 900 business women, educators and high school students. Unlike our other events, we also incorporate a small trade display for organisations wanting to get their message to the 300 students in attendance.
